2. Consider cab size and cooling capacity
A small van requires a very different cooling output than a large truck cab or an excavator operator booth. Always check the BTU rating of the unit against the cubic volume of your cab. Undersizing means the unit runs constantly and still struggles — oversizing wastes power and creates uncomfortable temperature swings.

3. Think about operating conditions
